Whether you want to get to know your pension a little better or you're close to retirement and need a final bit of guidance, our Pension Spotlight sessions are here to help.
These hour-long educational webinars are held on a quarterly basis. Session topics include 'Getting to know your pension' and 'Getting ready for retirement'. We also currently have some one-off sessions on 'Setting a retirement savings target'.
Getting to know your pension
Have you ever felt like you need to pay more attention to your pension but don't know where to start?
Our 'Getting to know your pension' session is the perfect remedy. In this session, the Nestlé Pensions team will be talking through all of the pension information you need to get more conformable with pensions at Nestlé.
Sessions are tailored depending on whether you are a DC or DB member.
Getting ready for retirement
Planning to retire soon? If so, it's worth getting prepared.
The 'Getting ready for retirement' session provides you with a practical five-step checklist to formalise your plans. From working out how much retirement income you might have, to planning how you might use it and the different options your Nestlé pension offers you.
Sessions are tailored depending on whether you are a DC or DB member.
Setting a retirement savings target
Each year we send you a pension statement that shows you what you've built up so far and how much income you're on track to get when you retire.
But have you ever thought about the type of lifestyle you'll want in retirement and how much you'll need to afford it? In this session, we'll talk you through all the figures shown in your statement and why they're important for planning your retirement - including how to your set your savings target.

Each session is tailored for either defined contribution (DC) members or defined benefit (DB) members so it's important to register for the right one.
You should join a DC session if you're a member of:
- DC Start, or
- DC Core.
You should join a DB session if you're a member of:
- DB Core,
- DB CorePlus, or
- either DB Core or DB CorePlus and you also have DC savings.
Not sure which section you're a member of? Find out by logging into your online account or looking at your payslip. If your payslip shows you make DB and DC contributions you should join a DB session.
